Release Day for Forbidden Fires!

It’s here! Today is release day for my 3rd Bondage & Breakfast book, FORBIDDEN FIRES!  It’s a reunited lovers story, full of heat and fire and sexy times. When I wrote this story, these are the pictures I found that matched who I had in mind for Colin (Matt Passmore from The Glades) and Delia (Alicia Witt):

Anniversary Contest!

Today is the one year anniversary of the release of my debut novella, Forbidden Fantasies, with Carina Press. This past year has been an absolutely amazing ride for me and to celebrate it, I’m going to do a giveaway!

For a chance to win e-copies of Forbidden Fantasies, Forbidden Desires, and the not-yet-released Forbidden Fires (out 4/1), leave a comment here with your favorite “FORBIDDEN” thing…ice cream for breakfast, public sex, working in your pajamas, whatever.  I’ll put all the names in a hat and have my very own hero randomly choose one.

BONUS: If the winner is in the US or Canada, I’ll also snail-mail a copy of the print version of Forbidden Fantasies, found in The Theory of Attraction anthology.

Entries must be received by 9pm ET on Friday, March 8th, and winner will be announced on here, on Twitter, and on Facebook at that time.

And on that note….GO!

The Unofficial Blurb for Forbidden Obsessions

Some of you may have seen me squee on Twitter and Facebook that I’ve gotten a release date for Forbidden Obsessions, Gabe’s book, and it’s way earlier than I’d hoped! September 9th, 2013, and yep, it’s another Carina Press book.  I’m just getting ready to start edits on it, but thought you might like to see my unofficial blurb (the one I wrote myself, not the one that will ultimately be used on bookstore sites!):

Dominant Gabe McConnell owns Bondage and Breakfast, an inn that caters to people into kink. It’s closed for repairs after a fire, but a friend asks him to open his home to Olivia Watterson, a firefighter recovering from a traumatic accident that injured her spine. Their attraction is immediate, but Gabe knows she’s too fragile for the type of play he demands from a submissive. It doesn’t take long, however, before she gets under his skin and he gives in to his desires.

Olivia’s short-term goals don’t include falling for the sexy Dom, but she loves the way Gabe makes her feel.  They explore the basics of domination and submission, but she’s frustrated with the way he holds back, treating her like fragile glass.  Now that she’s gotten a taste of what he has to offer, she wants all of him. Can they both get past their preconceived notions to find a way to make this relationship work?

Still lots of work to be done on it yet, but September…that’s pretty soon!

A Forbidden Desires Valentine Story

I had so much fun writing a Christmas story for Alex and Jess that I decided I need to write a similar follow-up piece for Marcus and Bella, focusing on Valentine’s Day.  This story takes place after FORBIDDEN DESIRES, so please be aware it does contain spoilers. I hope you enjoy this peek into their lives!

PLEASE NOTE:  Story contains material appropriate for adults only. 18+ only, please!

Cover Reveal for Forbidden Fires!

Today, I’m really excited to be able to share my newest cover with you for book 3 in my Bondage & Breakfast series.  I *love* this new cover. I like that it’s very different from my first two covers. Don’t get me wrong, I loved those covers too, but this one fits the story in exactly the way I’d imagined.

And Carina Press has moved up the release date from April 29th to April 1st, 2013 (and no, it’s not an April Fool’s joke…believe me, I checked!)

Without further ado, here’s Colin and Delia:

So what do you think?

A Forbidden Fantasies Christmas Story

Six Sunday from Forbidden Desires

Bella is a plus-sized librarian, and Marcus is a hot Italian firefighter / paramedic. Bella’s not sure she’s quite Marcus’s type, but she couldn’t be farther from the truth.  He’s not interested in surface beauty alone, and here, Marcus’s thinks about what it is that intrigues him about Bella:

If his mother and nonna had taught him anything, it was that real beauty lived below the skin, in the heart of the woman. When he looked at Bella, he saw strength and kindness and purpose and vulnerability. It shone from her clear blue-green eyes and on her flawless pink cheeks and came out in every word she spoke from her incredibly sensual mouth. She was comfortable in her own skin, and it showed in the way she carried herself. It turned him on and made him want her, in any way she’d take him.

Even on his knees.

Forbidden Desires is available now!

A Rebel’s Sunday Six

Yup, that’s right. I’m a rebel. I’m not giving you six sentences this Sunday…I’m giving you SEVEN! *nods*  See? I can rule-break with the best of them! This is from a scene where Bella comes face to face with Marcus’s ex-fiancee:

“How about a little self-esteem, Bella?” She muttered the words to herself as she waited on the porch stairs for Marcus to park his bike in the driveway behind her car. She snorted. She usually had it, but who could look at Teresa whatever-her-last-name-was and not feel inadequate? She shoved her insecurities back into the far reaches of her heart and grinned. So what if his ex was gorgeous? Hot, sexy Marcus was here with her, and possession was nine-tenths of the law.

What woman can’t relate with how Bella feels when faced with her man’s ex?

A Fall-Back Sunday Snippet

Two more weeks until FORBIDDEN DESIRES releases! Another snippet from it:

For the hundredth time since she’d said yes, Bella wished she’d told Marcus no. What was she thinking? They were so different. She was a librarian, and he was a firefighter and a paramedic. He was an alpha kind of guy and she’d bet he was an adrenaline junkie. She didn’t go for men like that. She should have given him the out he probably wanted, and maybe even needed. He’d sounded so serious when he’d talked about how he’d screwed up at work.

But the truth of the matter was, he was the first man in far too long who’d caught her interest in more than just a physical way. Oh, yes, he was sexy. But damn it, he seemed nice. How long had it been since she’d been with a man who was just…nice? She snorted. Had she ever been with a man who was just…nice? Trent hadn’t been. Not once he knew—

No. Bella forced herself to squelch the memories. She looked around and sighed at the mess in her bedroom that matched the one in her head. She’d changed her clothes about twelve times, and the rejects were piled high on the chair next to her closet. No outfit seemed quite right for a first date with a man she’d already told she was imagining naked.

Except maybe bare skin and a smile.

Hmmmm….what kind of outfit DOES go with that?

More Lines from Forbidden Desires

This is a continuation of the scene from the last blog post. Forbidden Desires is out November 19th…pretty darn soon! :)

He cursed under his breath. He’d have sworn she was as into the kiss as he’d been, but obviously he was wrong. He stepped back, putting a little space between them. “I’m sorry, Bella. I didn’t mean to push so hard. I thought… I’m sorry.”

She stared at him for a long moment, really looked into his eyes as if she were taking his measure. “You didn’t. But I like it when men ask.” She took one step forward, twisting her fingers around the choker he wore, tightening it slightly against his throat. Her eyes gleamed brightly, and her sinfully sexy voice was a low drawl. “Actually, I like it when they beg.”
