Heh! Today I was tagged by the another Carina Press author @natgreyangel (Natasha Hoar) fun writer game, the 7 line WiP tag game. In case you’re not familar with the term, WiP stands for “Work in Progress.” Basically, it’s the story you’re working on right now.
Here are the rules:
1. Go to page 77 of your current WiP
2. Go to line 7
3. Copy down the next 7 lines – sentences or paragraphs – and post them as they’re written. No cheating.
4. Tag 7 other authors
So, anyway… I don’t quite have 77 pages of my current WiP. I took page 17 instead, went to line7, and copied the next 7 lines.
From Forbidden Fire:
“What the hell is that?” Her voice was unsteady, arousal coloring her cheeks a bright red as she tilted her chin up at him, glaring. Her chest rose and fell with ragged breaths.
“I think it’s pretty obvious,” he retorted. “It’s an erection. I tend to get one when I’ve got a wild woman sucking on my tongue.”
Her face flushed even darker. “Jesus, Colin. We’re working.”
Colin had seen this side of Dee before and he knew it was time to back off. For now, anyway, but he wasn’t giving in without the final word.
