Anniversary Contest!

Today is the one year anniversary of the release of my debut novella, Forbidden Fantasies, with Carina Press. This past year has been an absolutely amazing ride for me and to celebrate it, I’m going to do a giveaway!

For a chance to win e-copies of Forbidden Fantasies, Forbidden Desires, and the not-yet-released Forbidden Fires (out 4/1), leave a comment here with your favorite “FORBIDDEN” thing…ice cream for breakfast, public sex, working in your pajamas, whatever.Β  I’ll put all the names in a hat and have my very own hero randomly choose one.

BONUS: If the winner is in the US or Canada, I’ll also snail-mail a copy of the print version of Forbidden Fantasies, found in The Theory of Attraction anthology.

Entries must be received by 9pm ET on Friday, March 8th, and winnerΒ will be announced on here, on Twitter, and on Facebook at that time.

And on that note….GO!

  1. I think my most forbidden thing is reading VERY naughty books while riding the bus on my Kindle πŸ™‚ People are all around me babbling and such and I am reading about a couple screwing each others brains out! Happy Anniversary Jodie!!!! <3

    • Hahaha! Love that! That’s actually how I feel as I’m writing them in the middle of a Panera or during my lunch at work. πŸ˜‰ Thanks so much, Aurora!

  2. Congratulations on the 1 year anniversary, Jodie! Wishing you many, many more sales.

My forbidden pleasure is chocolate. Since being diagnosed with diabetes, it’s a big no-no. But the sugar free stuff just isn’t the same as a decadent piece of smooth, rich chocolate. So every once in a while I’ll sneak a little piece, and enjoy every forbidden morsel. πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Kathy! And chocolate…nom. Good that you allow yourself to indulge once in a while.

  3. 1 and 2 above. Oh, and sometimes fantasizing about a hot sexy actor while making love. Actor varies depending on the mood. πŸ™‚

    • LOL, Gail! I am *shocked*. (Not really! After all, that’s what fantasies are all about!)

  4. My forbidden thing is pretty tame, but it’s working at home in my pajamas all day. Love it! Congrats on your anniversary.

    • Thanks, Laurie! And that’s one of my favorites…on conference calls knowing what I am (or I’m NOT) wearing! πŸ˜‰

  5. Wearing Yoga Pants on an airplane. I only just convinced myself that this is acceptable – but it still feels forbidden! Best thing ever.

  6. Let me preface this by stating I live alone and the blinds stay closed for most of the day….but I enjoy dancing provocatively in my kitchen…often in my jammies. It’s how I get pumped up to greet the day.

  7. Foridden? Hmmm…maybe it’s the decadent feeling of writing sexy scenes while wearing my favorite (well worn;) pink reindeer jammies…and having not brushed my teeth or hair. Bringing sexy back with my hair flipping up in all directions, fluffy OU slippers, and flannel jammies that have seen better days.

    • LMAO! Funny how so many of us love our comfy clothes for writing, reading, dancing… πŸ˜‰

  8. Recently, my partner suggested messaging each other (on a popular dating site) as different people, which I’m finding powerfully erotic. Quite often, I’ll be on the bus to or from work and she’ll start interrogating me about my fantasies, or hinting at what I can expect when I arrive at her place…
And guess what? We have a combined age of over a century, so we’re more than old enough to know better!

    • I love that, Jess! What a fun, sexy idea! I think it’s great! My guy and I are pretty close to that “over a century combined” thing too, and you know what? Still hot for each other. πŸ™‚ So go you (and her!) πŸ˜€

  9. Not sure how I missed this, Jodie–but my favorite forbidden thing? Oh my, so many things that make me happy to think about. Just one? Let’s see, probably stealing sexy kisses from DH when my girls aren’t looking–kisses and other thing ;D

    Congrats Jodie on your anniversary!

  10. Sleeping way, way in, or never getting out of my pajamas all day! Okay, maybe not *that* forbidden but I definitely get eye rolls when I say I’ve slept in til 11 (though usually that means I was up super late reading).

    • But still feels that way…I totally get what you’re saying! *gasp* You slept LATE? Why weren’t you….? Eh. Sometimes being lazy is JUST what we need!
